4th of July in Boston

The 35th Annual Boston Harborfest Celebration

As the largest 4th of July festival in the country, the Boston Harborfest is one event you don’t want to miss this summer. There’s tons to do from June 30-July 4, 2017, from the opening ceremony at Faneuil Hall to historical reenactments and live entertainment all around the city.

Reading of the Declaration of Independence

The history buffs that come through Stoneham Ford will be thrilled to head over to the Old State House at 10am on July 4th for a traditional reading of the Declaration of Independence, just as it was read there on July 18, 1776.

Boston POPS Does the Fourth & Fireworks

On July 4th, get your fix of fireworks at the Hatch Shell on the Esplanade when the Boston POPS Orchestra plays an amazing, free concert headlined by Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas, followed by 23 minutes of fireworks. You can even watch this televised event away from city if you can’t make it to see the display presented over Charles River.
