Used cars represent an affordable option for many drivers, but some simply aren’t worth the risk. Drivers in search of peace of mind who are unable to afford a new model tend to turn to Certified Pre-Owned vehicles, and for good reason. The benefits of buying a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle are numerous and easily outweigh the slight price increase compared to used cars. Here are a few reasons you should consider buying a Certified Pre-Owned model from Stoneham Ford.
- Financing – While Certified Pre-Owned vehicles aren’t quite as cheap as normal used cars, they do come with low interest financing. That effectively lowers the monthly payment, making it even more affordable to buy a vehicle. Normal used vehicles won’t be available at the same rate as vetted pre-owned models.
- Satisfaction – Many Certified Pre-Owned programs allow drivers to get behind the wheel for a few days to see if the car is right for them. If not, the driver is allowed to exchange it for a different model. The option to swap vehicles within a time frame provides many drivers with peace of mind.
- Peace of Mind– Vehicles have to pass a rigorous inspection to become a Certified Pre-Owned model. Most programs put the car through its paces, check the title, and won’t take vehicles with too many miles. The level of scrutiny ensures that the car is in near-new shape mechanically, providing peace of mind to the buyer.
Tax season is a source of anxiety for many people, but Stoneham Ford is here to help!
There are so many different forms and rules that it makes filing taxes difficult and confusing. However, there is light at the end of the tunnel. Due to some common sense changes, filing taxes in 2017 could be easier.
Filing taxes will be less complicated due in part to the recently passed Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes Act of 2015 (PATH). Beginning in 2017, employers will be required to file employee tax information—W-2 forms for traditional employees and 1099-MISC for freelancers that earned $600 or more—by January 31. This is nearly a full month earlier than the date at which employers were previously required to have their taxes filed.
This extra time will make filing your taxes much less stressful since you will have a full 30 days of extra time to file your taxes. Freelancers are one group of people that will be especially happy to have more time since they often have to file for multiple different businesses, and businesses often ignored the previous deadline anyway.
All of this is good news for the American taxpayer. Anything that helps make tax season less stressful is a win for the entire country.
